Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci
”What happens when an illustrator spends two weeks at the Museum?
Lapin will guide you with his artistic gaze amid collections and people. With him you will discover objects – big and small, everyday and unique, famous and unknown – that tell stories of science, technology, and industry from the past and present.
Sketch after sketch, his quick line has captured the soul of exhibitions, laboratories, and storage rooms, revealing countless small and unexpected details. Each drawing will help you bring home a little piece of the Museum.
And if you find yourself turning the pages too quickly, don’t worry: the stories at a museum never end.”
Presentation: Saturday, November 28, 2:00 PM, Sala Biancamano.
Free admission, no booking required. Entry is subject to availability. Entrance at Via Olona 6/b, Milan.
As part of BookCity Milano, the Museum will present the edition, with the artist ‘lapin’ and Director General Fiorenzo Marco Galli. The event will offer an opportunity to explore the contents of the sketchbook and—through the author’s drawings and personal account—retrace his experience during the artist residency.
Following the presentation, ‘lapin’ will be available to sign copies purchased at the event.
