La Push
I have always been fascinated by wildlife and the power of nature, whether contemplating and painting the Atlantic Ocean on the island of Ouessant or the Fogo Volcano in Cabo Verde.
But what I saw at La Push Beach in Olympic National Park on the Pacific coast of the United States exceeded my expectations. I was fascinated by the way the Pacific Ocean interacted with the giant sequoias and pines that littered the beach, the fog, the pelicans, the eagles, the seals, and the shells…
I now dream of returning to La Push for a longer stay to paint these fascinating landscapes.
