cea 80th anniversary

Nuclear energy, medicine, digital technology, space, defense, climate, solar energy, electronics… Since its creation in 1945, the CEA has made major scientific discoveries and technological innovations possible. These have helped to meet the major challenges of the last eight decades and have permanently transformed our daily lives.

To mark this anniversary, I visited the Cadarache site to learn more about the institute and to create this illustration of the advances and innovations that have made the CEA a key player in scientific and technological research.
