The Museum of Flight

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Seattle is the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. The second thing that comes to mind is the birthplace of Boeing and the immense Everett factory where the 747 was born.

On my last trip there, in July 2025, I visited the Everett factory and the Museum of Flight, which houses the replica of the “Gee Bee”, the “Mother Ship” or the Blue Angels Skyhawk. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring back any illustrations of the Boeing factory and the 787 assembly hangar, as pencils (and cameras) were prohibited on the tour.
