Aviateurs - carnet de l’armée de l’air et de l’espace

I have been nominated official air and space painter of the French air forces in 2019. As an ambassador, I must share the values and heritage of the army. In 2022, I have been commissioned to create a reportage about the everyday commitment of aviators.
During several weeks, I visited the French air bases of Saint Dizier, Orléans, Évreux and Cognac to meet aviators, those men and women engaged for the defense of the nation. I sketched pilots, instructors, mechanics, firemen, special forces… surrounded by the mythic airplanes Rafale and A400M.
In those pages, I am sharing their daily missions, a unique visit of the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace.
